Finding Joy in Organization and Planning

There's something deeply satisfying about crossing items off a well-crafted list. I can’t fully explain it, but that small checkmark, that decisive line through a completed task—it's more than just productivity. It's peace of mind wrapped in organization. 

I've always been a list person. Shopping lists, to-do lists, Christmas lists, bucket lists—you name it, I've probably made a list for it.  Add that list to a calendar and I can’t contain my excitement. I find clarity in seeing everything laid out, knowing exactly what needs attention and what can wait. In a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming, lists are my anchor.

When Organization Meets Creativity

For years, I kept my organizational obsession to myself. Those who know me well have seen how I structure my daily activities. My friends and family would joke about my color-coded systems and meticulously maintained calendars, but I couldn't help it. Organization wasn't just a habit—it was something I genuinely loved.

That's when I discovered something remarkable: I wasn't alone. There's an entire community of people who light up at the sight of a beautifully designed planner page or a thoughtfully structured checklist. And that's where LMS Designz comes in. Afrocentric Digital art combined with a beautifully designed planner.

The Birth of a Passion Project

Creating digital art for LMS Designz has become more than just a side project—it's become my creative outlet. Developing these planners to the product offering, have brought me joy. Every font, every page, every tab I design is created with one goal in mind: helping others experience that same sense of calm and control that organization brings to my life.

I pour over details that might seem small to others. Should this section have more space? Would a weekly view work better than a monthly one? Is this color scheme both beautiful and functional? These aren't just design questions—they're questions about how people actually live their lives and what they need to feel less stressed and more in control.

Why Digital Content Matters

Through LMS Designz, I want to share Afrocentric digital art with the world. With the planners I get to create resources that adapt to people's lives rather than forcing people to adapt to a one-size-fits-all system. Each piece is designed to make someone's life a little bit easier.

Maybe it's a mom, like me, coordinating her family's schedule. Maybe a young university student balancing coursework and activities, or someone simply trying to feel less overwhelmed by life's demands.

Living the Organized Life

Designing the planners has taught me that organization isn't about perfection. It's about creating systems that work for you, finding tools that bring clarity instead of complexity, and surrounding yourself with resources that support your goals rather than becoming another source of stress.

LMS Designz is my way of sharing what brings me joy. These planners are my way of reaching out to others who understand that love of a good list, a clean layout, and the satisfaction of a day well-planned. It's where my organizational obsession meets my creative spirit, and I couldn't be happier about it.

As we approach the end of 2025, let’s plan for the new year.  Here’s to lists, to organization, to beautiful digital content that makes life a little more manageable—and to finding passion projects that let us share what we love with the world.
